There are a lot of sea creatures we can find under the sea. But have you ever thought how strange and marvelous it is? Here are some of the weird animals we can find under the sea.

Pink See-Through Fantasia

The name sounds like lingerie or perfume, but don’t be fooled. This is a sea cucumber, found a mile and a half deep in the East of Borneo, particularly in the Celebes Sea. It is a bioluminescent creature that emits light and uses it to alarm potential predators.

Giant Isopod

Native to chilly, deep waters giant isopods are carnivores who usually eat dead animals that fall down to the surface of the ocean. These animals can grow quite a bit large and is believed that they do this in order to withstand the pressure at the bottom of the sea. In 2010, a giant isopod was discovered with a size measuring 2.5 feet.

Christmas Tree Worm

This creature was discovered at the Great Barrier Reef’s Lizard Island. Scientists refer to it as Spirobranchus giganteus. It has spiral branches that are actually its breathing and feeding apparatus. The worm lives in a tube, and it can withdraw its tree-like crowns if threatened.
